One of the most memorable dates is the eve of Valentine’s 2010. Jay and I never really celebrate V-day as it’s really a Hallmark thing. But 2010 gave us a reason to be surrounded by more love, cuddles and happy tears. In the early hours of February 13th I took a pregnancy test… it was positive! Woke Jay up and the next thing we knew, we were jumping for joy. We have never been happier. It was so surreal. Only after a second positive pregnancy test and a blood test at the doc’s was when we actually realized… we were having a baby!
After hearing the strong heartbeat two weeks later, we broke the news to our dearest family. Watching them smile, cheer and cry was the next best thing.
